August 25, 1996 Here I am in Pediatric I.C.U. in Children's Hospital in L.A. seeing my brothers and sisters for the first time since I was admitted in the hospital. I was really happy to see them!
Hi my name is Laci Brooke Hiatt and I am 18 years old. I am a two time Cancer Survivor. Leukemia at 6 years old and a brain tumor at 18. I also have a bone disease called Avascular Necrosis that developed because of all the steroids I have taken. I love children and I want to be a preschool teacher. I love to sing and I hope to dance again someday. I have learned a lot thus far in my life about love, hope, and miracles...I have had two of them. I have had some hard days and many more good days. This is my life which I am so very grateful for.
